On Tuesday 5th February 2019, Key Stage 3 welcomed Dave the Rainforest Man to join us for a day of exploring the rainforests’ animals, plants and people. We started the morning with a fantastic assembly where he showed us tribal animal masks, a nose flute and then he shot a balloon with his traditional blow pipe. It was amazing!
For the rest of the day we took part in lots of different activities including rainforest art, we made rainmakers and got to hold Dave’s animals and have our faces painted like the rainforest tribes. We all had a lovely day, and Alistair said, “…it was an interesting, fascinating and memorable day.”
