Friends of Pitcheroak

Who are FOP?

The friends are a group of parents and carers associated with the school. Anyone connected with the school is welcome to join.

What do they do?

FOP raise money to help fund the ‘extras’ that make school life better for the students.

Since the group was formed they have helped to raise money towards a school minibus, additional outdoor play equipment, sensory studio equipment and they are currently fund raising for whole school themed days.

How often do FOP meet?

The Friends normally meet once a term to arrange events and discuss funding requests and opportunities. Anyone can come along and add interesting ideas for fundraising. Please join us if you can.

What sort of events do they arrange?

A range of activities take place to support the school throughout the year such as Bingo, BBQs, Discos, Scalextric nights.

How do I get involved?

The Friends need all sorts of help. Some people join the committee and attend the meetings. Other people prefer to be on the helpers list so they can be called upon to assist at the bigger events if they are able to. It is up to you to decide how much time you can give.
