Pupil Premium Grant

Pupil Premium Grant 2017-2018

We have received confirmation that our school will be funded £52,330 for the academic year 2017-2018.

The Pupil Premium Grant is a sum of money that the school receives for every student who is either in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM) or who has been in receipt of them in the past. Students have to be 16 or under or deemed ‘looked after’. Nationally, the statistics show that students who are in receipt of FSM do less well than their peers in external exams. The aim of this money is to try to close that attainment gap. Pitcheroak School has a number of students who are in receipt of FSM. The school focuses on maximising achievement for all and views each student as a unique individual entitled to the same quality of educational experience, in and beyond the classroom.
